This page states the limits of the material published on this website and of the services Domantria LLC provides. It exists so that no reader can be misled about the nature of a brokerage engagement. Where this page and any other part of the site appear to say different things, this page and the terms of service govern.
We are not a registrar
Domantria LLC is not a domain name registrar and not a registry. We do not sell, register, renew, or administer domain names as a registrar. Registrations that we hold under a Quiet Ownership arrangement are administered through a registrar of record, which is the entity that performs registration operations. We do not control any registry, and we cannot compel a registry or a registrar to take, reverse, or accelerate any action.
We are not an escrow holder or a financial institution
We do not hold transaction funds, and we are not an escrow holder, a bank, a money transmitter, a trustee, or a fiduciary in respect of client money. Funds for a transaction move through an independent escrow provider engaged for that matter, under that provider's terms. We coordinate the sequence of a settlement; we do not control the provider's decisions, and we cannot release funds ourselves.
We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice
Nothing on this website is legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or financial advice. We do not advise on the tax treatment of a transaction, on the reporting obligations that follow it, or on whether a name infringes anyone's rights. Our appraisal notes are professional opinions about a thin and private market, not formal valuations for any statutory, regulatory, lending, or litigation purpose. If you need advice of those kinds, obtain it from your own qualified advisers, and we will cooperate with them.
No promise of availability or outcome
A domain name is not available because it looks available. Availability depends on the holder, the status of the registration, and the holder's willingness to transact. We do not promise that any name will be available, that any approach will receive a reply, that any negotiation will conclude, that any transfer will be approved by a registrar, that any transaction will settle, or that any particular price will be achieved. Our fees are for work performed, and they are payable whether or not a transaction completes, as set out in the rate card and in any signed scope.
No promise about visibility or ranking
We make no statement about how any search engine, marketplace, or platform will treat a name. Holding or acquiring a name creates no particular position anywhere, and we do not represent that it does. Any statement about the commercial usefulness of a name is a matter of judgment for the client, made with their own advisers and their own plans in mind.
Market notes are informational
The market notes published on this site are general observations from desk work. They are not a forecast, not a recommendation, and not a statement about any individual name. Markets for domain names are thin, private, and irregular, and past transactions do not indicate what a future transaction will achieve.
